Shirley Temple Dies at 85
On Feb. 10 Shirley Temple Black, the former child movie star of the 1930s, died of natural causes in her home in California at the age of 85. Shirley Temple was often referred to as the “darling of the Depression” and won the hearts of millions through her dancing, acting, and singing in just under 50 films by the time she was ten years old.
All Shook Up: LGHS’s New Musical
This year’s spring musical at LGHS is All Shook Up. The show takes the hits of Elvis Presley and creates a storyline linking them together, putting the songs in different arrangements.
Bunkasai Festival
The Bunkasai festival is put on by the Japanese Honor Society (JNHS) clubs from both LGHS and Cupertino High School and celebrates Japanese culture as well as raises money for typhoon relief in the Philippines.
