In the bottom of the sixth inning, senior DJ Halbert hit a double to right-center field. Soon after, Bigge hit a single and advanced Halbert to third base. With Halbert on third, Finch came up to bat and earned an RBI with a pop up to right field.

In addition to their strong offensive victory, LGHS played a phenomenal defensive game. Senior Cameron Ackerman pitched a remarkable game and struck out a myriad of batters. As he pitched, he threw out numerous runners and prevented several line drives up the middle. In the top of the seventh inning, senior Campbell Robertson came up to the mound and finished off the last batter. Overall, LGHS dominated the field with its perseverance and tenacity.

This Sat., March 29, the team will play a home game against Aragon at 2:00 PM. Proceeds from the game will be donated to a local cancer charity. Bring your friends and family to enjoy a fun, energetic day of baseball while supporting a good cause.
