The Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Department announced via press release the death of Tyler Scheetz (19), a Palo Alto resident and recent graduate of St. Francis High School in 2021. Scheetz died from injuries caused by a two-car crash which occurred on the morning of Jan. 8 around 9:52 a.m. in the area of Blossom Hill Road and Belgatos Road. Both drivers were injured as well as others around the site of the crash. First responders rendered first aid to the involved parties of both vehicles, who were then transported to a local hospital. Authorities are still investigating the accident, and no arrests have been made.
