After the state-wide shelter-in-place mandate came into effect during mid-March, for many, the days and nights all started blurring together. For most second semester LGHS seniors, the reality of the year ending was difficult to grasp while experiencing the repetitiveness of quarantine. According to many, it wasn’t until Tues., June 2, when all the seniors received their diplomas in the mail that the gravity of the situation was finally able to sink in: their time at LGHS was officially over. Although it’s sad to see them go, it’s an honor to be able to send them off, even if it can’t be face-to-face. Thanks to the administration and KCatTV, the community is able to purchase a ‘live stream’ of the Class of 2020’s graduation ceremony. Visit their website to see our seniors celebrate the end of their high school careers!
