On Tues, Sept. 9 Apple announced the iPhone 6, the iPhone 6 Plus, and the Apple Watch to the public, exciting the world with the larger screens and the long promised smartwatch.
The new iPhones have the typical Apple improvements in speed, battery life, thickness, and display quality. The large difference in the physical appearance between the old and the new is in the rounded edges, the thinness, and the large screen. Compared to previous iPhones, the iPhone 6 has a much larger screen. The iPhone 6 Plus has an even larger screen than the iPhone 6 for users who prefer a larger phone like the Samsung Galaxy S5. The main new feature in the new iPhones is Apple Pay, an application that allows its users to pay at retail stores with their Apple device. Customers will be able to use Apple Pay at Walgreens, Duane Reade, Staples, Subway, McDonald’s, and the Apple Store.
The Apple Watch will be made available for purchase next year with its fitness monitors, maps, Siri, and other typical Apple applications. The watch features wireless charging and will be offered in three different versions: the Apple Watch, Apple Watch Sport, and Apple Watch Edition.
You can pre-order now for your iPhone 6, coming to stores Sept. 19 and begin dreaming about the Apple Watch that will be on your wrist in 2015.
