Sophomore Maya Gomez is ecstatic to be working as one of the People section editors during her first year on El Gato’s staff. When Gomez isn’t drafting interview questions or brainstorming article ideas with her classmates, she enjoys watching sunsets with her older sister Rosie, getting coffee with her friends, and watching true crime TV shows and documentaries. Gomez has always had a passion for journalism, and cannot wait to add more tools to her personal toolbelt.
