LGHS holds Back-to-School Night: On Sept. 11, Los Gatos High School hosted its annual back-to-school night, filling the campus with a lively atmosphere as parents and guardians navigated through their students’ classes. Attendees first visited even-day class periods, then proceeded to odd-day courses, with a five-minute passing period in between. Each class lasted ten minutes and offered parents and guardians a chance to familiarize themselves with the school, learn about their student’s curriculum, meet teachers, and ask any questions they might have. The event is always an exciting night, as it marks the official start of another school year!

LGHS students attend choir camp: LGHS Choir held its annual choir camp last weekend, on Sept. 20. The choir’s student leadership committee arrived at 8:00 AM to set up decorations and put final touches on the event. Singers from all grades came together to rehearse for their fall concert in October, participate in team bonding, and play games. The event marks the beginning of a year-long collaboration among all three choirs—Concert, Mixed, and Treble—to combine forces for pieces like Les Misérables Medley, which they will perform this October. This year will be filled with fresh music for the ensemble; consider supporting them by attending their concert this fall.
