On Dec.4, California police arrested a 17-year-old boy on suspicion of a shooting in Hayward that occurred in June. When officers arrived shortly after 2:00 AM on Jun. 26, they found a 15-year-old boy suffering from gunshot wounds and pronounced him dead at the scene. Officers later learned that medical personnel escorted a second victim, a 13-year-old boy, to a local hospital for non life-threatening injuries and was later released.  After investigators determined the suspect, authorities apprehended him in Hayward and took him into custody. Local police stated that they placed the suspect in juvenile hall on suspicion of murder.
