On Thursday, Mar. 9, the Los Gatos High School Math Club hosted their very own math competition, the Los Gatos High School Math Olympiad (LGHSMO). The test was administered by sophomore Edwin Hou to ten problem-solving enthusiasts. The competition had problems of a comparable level to the AMC-10 and AMC-12 competitions, and were drawn from all areas of mathematics, such as geometry and probability. With the results from the LGHSMO the Math club will be able to select a six-person team to go to the Stanford Math Tournament on April 8.
