Although the state-wide shelter-in-place order made it impossible for several end-of-year traditions to take place at LGHS, thanks to several dedicated students and staff members, the school was still able to release a “Behind the Scenes” video of this year’s Lip Dub. This video was filmed on March 5 as a rehearsal for the actual lip dub that never took place.
Juniors Alex Arguijo, Grace MacKinlay, and Lexi Naillon of Yearbook captured the footage, and LGHS seniors and ASB officers Katie McEnroe and Amanda DalCielo planned, choreographed, executed, and edited the final production. Thanks to their efforts, even during quarantine, school spirit is higher than ever!

This vid is so hypocritical. They are obviously not social distancing and seem to be in violation of the shelter in place order, yet they say “stay safe” at the end. 🙁
Actually this practice/run through was recorded on March 5, so over a week before school officially closed on March 13 and nearly 2 weeks before Shelter in Place was established in Santa Clara County. Social distancing was not the law of the land at that point. We have added to the story above to clarify that important piece of information.
