The Los Gatos High School Drama Department will perform its annual spring musical in late March, opening on Mar. 24. This year, they are presenting The Lightning Thief, a show inspired by Rick Riordan’s classic Percy Jackson books. The modern musical follows the plot of demigod Percy Jackson — the son of the Greek God Poseidon — as he embarks upon a quest to retrieve Zeus’ stolen lightning bolt and prevent war. Percy and his friends — Annabeth and Grover — must overcome various obstacles such as Medusa as they struggle to restore peace. All LGHS performances will begin at 7:00 PM in the theater, so be sure to come support the dedicated performers and crew.
