San Jose Police arrested a 31-year-old English teacher after a student accused him of sexual abuse. Although Te Bin Jung had been teaching at Yerba Buena High School this school year, SJPD arrested him for an assault against a former student at Silver Creek High School. Police initially responded to reports of sexual assault against a minor on Jan. 9. The victim’s mother claimed there were inappropriate messages between the student and Jung. Police believe there may be more victims given his position at the school. Police arrested Jung on Jan. 10 and he is currently awaiting trial at the Santa Clara County Main Jail.
