On Nov. 30, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) leaked information regarding 6,252 asylum seekers on their website. After the information was available to the general public for five hours, Human Rights First, an advocacy group for immigrants, urgently notified ICE of the release. Countless activists worldwide are concerned that foreign governments and/or gangs, the very institutions that the refugees seek asylum from, viewed the published information.
