Sports Editor and sophomore Tanya Chang is thrilled for her first year in El Gato and is eager to contribute her passion for sports and storytelling. Chang can’t wait to snap photos of all the games and write about the moments that keep fans captivated, or at least mildly alert. When she is not playing either indoor or sand volleyball or eating Chipotle with her dad like it’s a competitive sport, you’ll probably find her reorganizing their room for the millionth time (because apparently “clean” only lasts 24 hours). On weekends, she loves driving to the beach and going on strange adventures that could lead to her being reported in a missing person segment. Chang is beyond excited to join El Gato and can’t wait to contribute, as long as her dog doesn’t eat her homework first!
