Folk-pop singer-songwriter Noah Kahan is willing and able to trek on with his worldwide The Great Divide Tour, raking in thousands of fans from all over to cry, scream, and feel the weight of the world on their shoulders while listening to his songs.

With the North American leg ending in August, Kahan looks forward to various shows as he heads to Australia for the next part of his journey. Headlining his fourth tour, the singer could not be happier about the outcome, expressing, “It is an absolute joy to be here. … Every time I look out into a crowd like this, I pinch myself.” While headlining 57 performances in three different regions, Kahan is smashing top charts with all 21 of his songs reaching the Hot 100 at the same time, becoming just the thirteenth artist in history to do so.

Released on Apr. 24, Kahan’s The Great Divide exploded in popularity earning 389,000 equivalent album units — a measurement that combines traditional sales, digital downloads, and audio streams — in the United States within the first week. Additionally, not even 24 hours after releasing The Great Divide, the songwriter dropped the extended version of the project called The Great Divide: The Last of the Bugs with four extra songs. Netflix’s documentary on the artist, titled Noah Kahan: Out of Body, also debuted on Apr. 13. This film follows Kahan as he returns to his hometown in Vermont after the massive success of his breakthrough album Stick Season and his new life within the music industry. Receiving praise for the singer’s raw emotion and honesty throughout the episodes, the documentary focuses on his personal life, family dynamics, and struggles with mental health issues.

Many of the tracks within this album take inspiration from these life experiences. Kahan’s songs grapple with feelings of loneliness, isolation, and homesickness all while achieving everything he had ever dreamed of. The songwriter uses the name of his album, The Great Divide, as a metaphor for this distance found within his being — from his hometown, family, and his past self — due to his popularity. Drawing on the more difficult and heavy realities of life, fans find a strong connection with these songs and their unfiltered emotions, realizing that they are not alone in experiencing these feelings.

The singer continues to bring meaning and attention to the complicated parts of people’s lives. Overall, 2026 has been a remarkable year for Kahan, and fans cannot wait to see what the future has in store for this young artist.
