A “newbie” loud and proud, sophomore Tanvi Ambekar is excited to join the El Gato team this year as an Opinion Editor. When she’s not procrastinating her homework, she enjoys singing her favorite song, Girl on Fire by Alicia Keys, with full confidence. On most nights, Tanvi eats crunchy peanut butter with Oreos and watches hip-hop dance choreography videos. Despite doing ballet for over ten years, she cannot do fast choreography to save her life. And although she loves historical fiction and science fiction novels, Ambekar is always open to chat about the latest fantasy releases – and Keeper of the Lost Cities is the best one, no arguments, please.
