Fun fact about freshman Ethan Currie: When he was around eight years old, Gym Class Heroes released their music video for their single ‘Fighter’ during the 2012 London Olympics. The music video, which featured Olympic gymnast John Orozco, inspired Currie so much that he started taking gymnastics lessons outside of school. Although his career as a gymnast was short-lived, he went on to become an exceptionally gifted basketball and football player, as well as an incredibly talented artist. To learn more about Currie’s fascinating life story, be sure to pick up a copy of El Gato this Friday, and read about him in our People Section!
