Special Counsel Jack Smith has subpoenaed former Vice President Mike Pence so he can deliver testimony regarding former President Donald Trump’s role in the Jan. 6, 202,1 attack on the U.S. Capitol. Pence’s office did not confirm the subpoena. So far, Pence has turned down interview requests from the House select committee investigating the attack. Donald Trump’s legal team has not challenged the subpoena yet, and previous legal attempts to halt subpoenas by the Special Counsel were struck down.
