On June 3, hundreds of Los Gatos residents marched in support of the Black Lives Matter movement. The rally, organized by LGHS freshman Nika Sabouri, came about mainly in response to the murder of African American man George Floyd. The protest began at 10:00 A.M. and came to a close at 12:00 P.M. With the exception of a few protestors who got sunburnt/dehydrated, all of the attendees stayed safe. The march remained peaceful from start to finish, and even the Los Gatos Monte Sereno Police Department proclaimed the event a success.
