On April 23 at 11:01AM, Catherine Middleton and Prince William welcomed the newest addition to their family. Weighing seven ounces, their baby boy now joins their other two children, Prince George Alexander Louis and Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana.

Shortly after the baby was born, a man dressed as a town crier announced to the crowds that lined South Wharf Road “Oyez, oyez, oyez, we’ve got a royal baby, a prince!” A few hours later the couple presented themselves on the steps of the hospital where they greeted the press and there other two children were able to meet their new brother.

Finally, on April 27, the couple officially announced their baby boy’s name as Louis Arthur Charles. The new prince’s name,“Louis,” runs in the family as it’s Prince George’s middle name and other relatives as well. Many are excited to see how the royal family will adapt to this wonderful new member of the family.
