20 large pretzel sticks
1 12 oz bag of semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup of white chocolate chips
Red food coloring
Assorted Valentine’s themed sprinkles (ie. pink. red, or hearts)
Begin by removing around 20 pretzel rods from their packaging and laying them out on baking trays covered in parchment paper. Then, embark on your ascent to chocolate heaven by melting** one 12 ounce bag of semisweet chocolate chips. Once melted, pour a thin layer of chocolate over each pretzel, leaving about an inch and a half of space at the bottom of the pretzel. Then, apply festive sprinkles to your liking. Set to dry for 15 minutes. Next, melt one cup of white chocolate adding 3-4 drops of red food coloring until the chocolate turns a pink color. Lightly drizzle the now pink chocolate back and forth across the pretzels in a zigzag pattern. Allow the pretzels to refrigerate for half an hour. Then, bring to room temperature before serving.
