After a long, enjoyable summer, junior Advika Anand is ready to jump back into El Gato in her new role as an Opinion Editor. You can always spot Anand with some sort of overpriced drink in hand: Italian sodas, smoothies, chai, or her newest affinity: matcha (which she swears doesn’t taste like grass), just to name a few. When she’s not deferring her homework until the morning it’s due, Anand is a frequent yoga/pilates soldier and constantly convinces herself that nearly passing out halfway through class is a communal experience. Empowered by boisterous giggles and six hours of sleep, this junior is already counting down the days until June.
