Dia de los Muertos celebrated in Spanish 2 Classes

Sophie Kroesche

Editor in Chief

“The Spanish 2 class prepared altars or offerings for a loved one that has died. The altar honors the person that has passed away. Each altar includes personal objects that represent what this person liked to do or a symbol we can remember them by. Additionally, each offering contains traditional objects of this holiday that includes papel picado, sugar skulls, a photo of the person, candles, water, etc. On this holiday, we celebrate and commemorate our loved ones.” – Spanish 2
