Ever since the season began in mid-September, hockey news has been circling the sports world. The west is dominating the eastern teams and rookies are shining on the ice. Many teams are in very different positions than where they finished last season.

The San Jose Sharks are off to a fantastic start this season. They have won all six games so far, making them one of just two undefeated teams. The team leads the Pacific Division and have the most shots-on-goal overall. They also have the highest average goals per game. Despite their successes, the team as a whole is not the talk of the hockey world. One player in particular shines brighter than the rest.
Every year, the St. Mary’s Fair draws rambunctious children, middle and high schoolers, and eagle-eyed parents. Known as a community effort, it sports delightfully colorful rides, food from local restaurants, and prize shacks. See pictures from the weekend here!
