The new music building’s sleek and modern exterior design encloses a beautiful interior with new music classrooms. As you enter the building, you’ll see the common area, filled with plenty of natural light and comfortable seating, allowing students to relax, hang out, or study. Down the hall, highlights of the new band room include a high ceiling and soundproof panels all around the walls to improve acoustics, a built-in recording system, and personal lockers for each band student to store their instrument. To the right of the common area, special features of the spacious choir room include seated risers, eight hanging microphones, and soundproof panels. Across from the band room, the practice rooms for music students have soundproof walls, a grand piano, and a special feature that transforms the acoustics in the room to cathedral mode.
