Juvenile Junior Maya Gomez is ecstatic, slightly worried, and ready to download the ESPN app for her new position on El Gato’s staff as a Sports Editor. Considering that this is her second year on staff, this cheese enthusiast is finally ready to learn how to write about all of the  sports she has absolutely no clue how to play, without assistance from the very athletic, undoubtedly cooler, former sports editor Sasha Ryu. When Gomez isn’t eating all of the popcorn from the snack cabinet, she can be found “accidentally” hitting band kids with her rifle, blasting T-Swizzle through her headphones, and basking in the knowledge that she is the most unqualified member and “veteran” on the Sports staff.
